Website X5 Hangs in text save

The problem still exists. Photos can be saved however after creating a page text box and selecting "OK" it hangs with activity circle running.
No fonts have been loaded.
Anti virus was removed.

When it hangs:
I cannot select: Options in left menu e.g. Map creation etc however or Cancel.
When I move to the Text Object area the activity circle disappears and I can add text.
The only way to exit is to end the process through windows

Jonathan, your last mention of this issue was almost 12 months ago. Did the problem go away in the interim or did you stop using the program?
If the problem went away and has now returned, it could possibly be a hardware issue. If this is the case please advise.

Hi - We stopped using it temporarily for a period with only pictures being updated on the website. We now need to address this text problem.
On a windows 7 system it the project loads/saves ok.
The user stated that the original issue arose after an update from Website X5 just prior to the date in the question raised last year. Thks
Jonathan, are you having this problem only on one PC (Win7) or more than one PC?
Have you considered opening a CMD prompt as administrator and running CHKDSK C: /R to make sure there are no HD issues affecting the project?
And have you tried exporting the project as an iwzip and then importing that iwzip as a new project (in some circumstances I have seen this proceedure "clear out" strange behaviour)
