Compatibility of V8 with PHP

My website host says that I need to review the compatibility of my X5 v8 website, currently PHP 5.2, with the latest available version of php and upgrade the site. How do I do this?

Version 13 appears to be the best answer, but it almost certainly means the recreation of your site. Sadly it is not possible to import V8 into V13 unless you already own V9 as an interim version.
But if you upgrade you will also benefit from having a responsive site and many new options if you so choose.

I confirm that the upgrade to the latest version would be the best solution. A part from solving your php issues, it would be a way of updating your website as well, as the risk of having websites created with old versions is that modern browsers do not support some of the old features anymore, so that some of your users may have issues when visiting it from updated browsers.
As to the conversion, you just have to open a separate topic here on the Help Center, as many users and moderators can do this for you.

Good to hear from you again.
Your advice is right but I think I will seek some local help to update to V13.
The hurdle may be coverting iwp file into iwzip file.
All advice on this would be gratefull received.

don't worry, it will be enough to post a request here, in my experience all users have solved the issue quickly, as the Community has been very helpful converting the iwp file for them.
