WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR when using Justified Gallery  en

I recently added the Justified Gallery widget to Wx5 13 Pro to use with one of my websites that has a lot of pictures. The widget appears to be working normally, but ever since I started using it heavily, my Win8.1 PC starts getting the blue screen error WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR while saving or uploading the website.

The website I am working on can be found at its temporary location (until the updates are complete) of https://www.trekcon.de/2017/

The Windows error caused the entire system to close down without warning and reboot.

I have never seen this error before using this widget and I work with WebsiteX5 13 Pro heavily on multiple websites.

Hello Peter,

I don't mean this to sound critical, but why would you put collections of SO MANY similar photos on your website? In my opinion, choosing just ONE photo (the best one) of each presenter would make your site far more engaging.

On another note, what are the pixel dimensions of the photos on your site? They load up fairly slowly on my 150 Mbps Internet connection, which suggests that the photos are of very high resolution. For a website, the photos will look fine at a maximum of 1600 px wide by 900 px tall.

I cannot comment on your WHEA error because I'm using Windows 10. Have you considered upgrading to the latest Windows operating system?

Peter, it appears to be a Windows error, possibly bought on by heavier CPU usage.

This post started in 2014, but as you will see it is still active in May 2017 (and applies from Win 8 through to Win10). Hopefully something in the post will resolve your issue (I would start by rolling back any windows updates or restoring your PC to an earler time if you have that option (control panel, system, system restore) if this issue is a recent occurance)

Alternatively (as Myron pointed out) you could limit the load placed on your CPU by making sure that all of your images are no larger than they need to be (eg max size of any image 1024px wide), in this way WX5 would not need to do as much work resizing and resampling when generating your galleries and image showboxes, and as a byproduct your galleries would load much faster.

Good luck!!
