You must have some blank lines or special characters in the text.

Try to copy all the text to notepad or notepad++.

This will remove some special characters or white text.

Then delete the textobject and see if there will still be some space before/below the image.

If not - then make a new textobject and copy the text from notepad to the textobject. 

If you still have too much space between the objects, then check the objects borders - both the inner and the outer.

Maybe you have changed a border to some wrong setting.

As you don't have a link to your page, it can be difficult to guess what it could else be.
