Gallery forward/backward arrows missing after recent update  en

After a recent update of the software, I setup/updated a gallery for a client site. When I preview the page, the arrows to scroll back and forth are missing. There is now an icon in the lower right and nothing else. I tried all different button styles. same issue. If i click on a picture, it zooms in and the arrows are missing there as well to cycle through. I have to use the left/right arrow keys to do this. It's been tested in IE, FF and Chrome. all have the same issue. I've attached a couple screenshots of my settings and what is seen. any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

Stillwater Solutions

G'day

In V 13 default navigation is through the control bar below the image being displayed. If you turn "show control bar" off, arrows will appear at each end of the thumbnails for navigation.

Hello there,

how many pictures do you have in your gallery? Have you tried to set, for example, 2 visible thumbnails and see what happens?

Does this happen with other Gallery types, too?

Have you tried to press ctrl+preview, so to force its regeneration?

Thank you! I wish you a nice day.

Hello,

It look likes the website sees an display that has swipe capability. In that case the buttons disapear and a swipe icon appears/ Do you test with a touchscreen ? In that case it is normal behavior.

Try a standard desktop pc and see if the buttons then are available.

If not do a full upload, refresh page with ctrl F5 once you visit with your browser to test the issue.

Best Regards,

Andre

Elisa, Andre and Stillwater Support, my apologies for selecting the wrong gallery type - please ignore my earlier post.

However, if Stillwater is not using a touchscreen, the issue may be related to this post
