Responsive site editing in PRO 13  en

1. I do not see a way to add additional content that would only be seen in the responsive site. I only see a way to hide parts of the desktop site in the responsive site. Can I add new content only for the responsive site? I see you can change the header or footer, but, not any other content for your responsive/mobile part.

2. I do not see a way to access the HTML code of my site. Do I have to use another HTML program/editor to change some of the code on a page or can I open the code of a page inside the program?

Hello Burton,

It is by design that you can not hide object in the bigest viewport.

If you open your website online and press ctrl_u you will see the coding.

In preview, you need top right button to open in a standard browser and then ctrl_U will work as well.

Best Regards,

Hi, thanks about seeing the code. But, I wanted to edit the code. For example, I purchased a template from you and all through the site it labels itself as "Heavy." I changed the title, but, it is buried through much of the code and when I looked at google, it calls my site, "Heavy". I want to eliminate that word from all entries in the code.

I did not want to hide a desktop object. What I wanted to do was insert a unique object in the responsive site that would not show on the desktop site, if that's possible. Something that would look good on a smaller screen and wouldn't be necessary on the desktop site.

You don't need to edit the code, for the word heavy to delete. That should be possible in x5. But I need an example to help you with that

And no it is not possible to set an object not in desktop mode but only in smaller viewports, maybe create an IDEA post for Incomedia to take into account for future updates.

Hello Burton,

you can remove the "Heavy" word on Step 2 - Template > Customization >Header and Footer Content , it is an Image Object.

As to making some Objects only available for the lower resolutions, as Andre said this is unfortunately not possible for the pages, as it is only possible to hide some contents in lower resolutions. In the header or footer, on the other hand, you can decide more freely to hide or show a specific content for a particular breakpoint.

Thank you. I wish you a lovely day.
