New Video Tutorial - I wish I knew this when I started using X5  en

I've just released my third tutorial for Website X5. It's called The Cell Model. I only wish I had this information when I first started using Website X5 because it would have saved me dozens of hours of work. This tutorial is an absolute "must," especially for new users.

You'll find it on YouTube at...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zj7S3X97zuc&feature=youtu.be

When viewing the tutorial, be sure to watch it in full-screen mode, and set the quality to 1080p.

As always, feel free to offer your comments about the tutorials.

Enjoy!

Hello Myron,

very nice and helpful video, I could have used it very well as I started with X5.

I think the following is still important to say: If you remove a graphic or other content, you first have to delete the filename from the selection box, so click on the name and then press the DEL key. If the field is empty, save the object and then delete the empty object itself.
In some cases the graphics file remains in the project and will be multiplied ten or hundreds times and transfer on the internetserver.I have such projects.:(

So you should ALWAYS first delete the contents of EACH object and then the object itself.
This bug is already reported to INCO.

Thanks and have a good day

Thomas

Hello Thomas,

You make a very good point. I too have noticed that graphics that I haven't kept on my website are still included in the final output of files. This is a "bug" that I'm hoping will finally be fixed in the next release - Version 14.
