Bold font doesn't show

I use Dosis font on my website and it does show when I upload it to the server. The only problem is that the font doesn't show when I type it in Bold. With other fonts (for example Raleway) I can select several different types of the font (see attachment) but with the Dosis font I only have one selection and have to make it Bold with the B button. How can I get the Dosis Bold font in the font selection list of the X5 interface? Ofcourse I installed the font on my computer and have selected the Dosis font in the preference screen of X5 but still it doesn't show when I upload the website. Can anybody please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

In my experience, some fonts work well when you select a variation (such as Bold or Italic) inside Website X5, whereas other fonts need to have the specific font variations listed, as you show in your screenshot.
I don't think you can predict the outcome. You simply have to try the font, and if it doesn't display properly on the web page then switch to a different font that works in all variations.
. . . did you also include the WEBfont-styles in x5 for showing in browsers ?

@ Myron, Thanks for the answer! I understand that I can easily select another font and just try but I really want to use this font in bold. If I don't get it working I can maybe search for an almost simular font. But let's give it a try first to solve it. Untill now every problem I ran into has been solved with the help of others.
@Pcssa, I'm not sure what you mean by this but I think your question is if I put the font in the several styles in the preference menu at the startpage of X5. If this is the question, I did showing it with a screenshot in the attachment. If this is not what you mean, can you be more specific. If this was the question, what to do next to solve it? From my point of view it should be possible to get the bold font in the font selection menu when using the X5 interface like the raleway font shown in the previous screenshot.

Hank - if I get time I will test it, but try removing the :600 from the import string

There are previous posts somewhere on this board where the string as you have it did not work.

I ran the test, it seems fine.
This is what I see when I load up the test page with dosis font on a PC without that font installed (I simply set the font as Dosis and selected the bold attribute)

This is what I did under preferences after placing all the provided ttf fonts in a suitable directory and point to it in the TTF File for offline display box

Nope, don't get it to work. Realy something weird going on. Anyway, after removing and reinstalling the font on my pc and trying different import strings on several dosis font types I finally got it to work on the website in Bold, only the menu is in regular and won't change into bold. But this is okay for me. I also tried it on my mobile and also this works. I just leave it now for this otherwise to much work is going into such a minor error. Thanks for your effort!!!!
