Hi Huveneers,

in order to have an mp3 file played on your website you can either use the Auto Player Object, whose preview is available on the Marketplace, or the already included Video/Audio Object, which is far simpler: http://help.websitex5.com/en/v13/pro/ogg_video_tab1.htm

Audio Player is more suitable for a play list, Audio/Video more for single tracks . Both automatically add play and pause buttons.

Please let me know if there is something I can do for you.

Hi Huveneers,

with the Audio/Video Object you can hide the control bar and set the autoplay. Given that you need 20 songs you should place 20 Objects, but please consider that the song would restart each page change, and that audioplay is not supported on mobile devices.

Thank you! Have a nice day.

Hi Harizonda,

unfortunately this object is not appropriate for video streaming, which is possibly available only by using custom code. You can ask the other users for this information, since the functions do not depend on WebSite X5.

Thank you! I wish you a lovely day.

Hello Huveneers,

Can you tell us a little more about your "rtmp format"? Maybe we can assist you better, and possibly even find an answer or point you in the the right direction as to some really nice 3rd party Media player plugins that work extremely well with X5. Thanks in advance.

Hi Huveneers,

with the Audio Play Object you can insert more than one song, set the auto play and show the pause/play button, but it is impossible to hide the playlist automatically. Also, please consider that mobile devices do not support the auto play. I think the best solution for you is to use some custom code.

Generally speaking since the functions do not depend on WebSite X5, you can search useful information about the custom code with search engines like google or wait until someone on the community of Help Center can help you.

Thank you, I wish you a lovely day.

The player is not simple, but you can nake it appear simple.

If you want a free player, there are more players available, but most are flash-players.

Kind regards

John S.
