The Google tracking code is now visible in head of a website i have built. It has only just started not sure why anyone have a clue ? picture shows it in top right corner.

... delete that string text from HEAD or from / HEAD ...
... for the correct procedures to perform are one of these (3) three listed, two (1), (2), via the program, and the third (3) via extra FTP (Filezilla, etc.) :
1) - ▪Verification metatag for Google Search Console: >> just enter the code:
ZYX *** XYZ
2) - >> Step 1 - Settings > Advanced > Statistics, SEO and Code > Options in the Expert section | ▪Custom Code | ▼Before closing the HEAD tag, ... paste:
<meta name = "google-site-verification" content = "ZYX *** XYZ" />
3) - download the google file:
google12345 *** ect .html
and send the file to the root of the site (extra FTP, Filezille, etc...);
(IT) - ... eliminare quella stringa ti testo da HEAD oppure da /HEAD...
... per le procedure corrette da eseguire sono una di queste (3) tre elencate, di dui due (1), (2), tramite il programma, e la terza (3) via FTP extra, (Filezilla, etc.):
1) - ▪Metatag per Google Search Console >> basta inserire il codice:
ZYX *** XYZ
2) - >> passo_1 - Impostazioni> Avanzate> Statistiche, SEO e Codice> Sezione Esperto | codice personalizzato | ▼ Prima della chiusura del tag HEAD, ... incollare:
<meta name = "google-site-verification" content = "ZYX *** XYZ" />
3) - scaricare il file google:
google12345 *** ect .html
e inviare il file alla radice del sito (FTP extra, Filezilla ect....);
