Links to external URLs in the website menu 
Author: Jason M.I am currently using Website X5 Professional 13. Does the software have the capability to add a link inside the main website menu that directs to an external URL (custom URL), instead of an internal website page?
For example, say I use an external SAAS platform to gather customer reviews for a local business, and I want to put a link titled "Rate Our Service" that links directly to that external platform (instead of an existing internal website page). I know I can put a link anywhere else on the website, but I want to know if there's a way to put that link directly in the main menu.
Also, I would want this link to open in a new window so that the visitor is not taken away from the main company website during this process.
Is this something that can be achieved using Website X5?
You can do that, add an new level in your menu. press in step 3 on the level the properties button.
There you will find the possibilities you are looking for.

Yes, it's possible to insert an exernal link in the main menu. You have to insert a "new level" in the map than press on "command" and insert the url choosing "file or URL". You can set for opening the page in the same or different window. Sorry, I don't know if the names of the items are correct because I have the software located in Italian. If it is not clear enough, I'll add some screenshots
