Option to hide 'under construction' pages and menu entries in the preview  en

In X5 Pro version, pages marked as 'under construction' are not published to the website but still appear in the preview. This is helpful in normal website development but not when the pages are required to be temporarily disabled and later reused on a regular basis.

I have a site with separate pages for each of the three terms: spring, summer and autumn, and one other temporary page. It is required that only one, or at most two, of these pages appear on the live website simultaneously, e.g spring term and summer term, or summer term and autum term, depending on the time of year. The pages for each term are reused the following year on a rolling basis with only minor variations, so I do not wish to delete and recreate these in the project file each time.

Currently, the temporarily unused pages still appear in both the menu and the content preview for the site when marked as 'under construction', which is confusing when optimising the layout and when demonstrating the site to the client as it will appear in the live version. Would it be possible optionally also to hide these pages and menu items in the preview as well as temporarily hiding/removing them from the live site?

Thank you for your consideration.

Malcolm, why don't you simply hide these pages when they are not required?

When hidden they will not appear in the menu.

Oops, sorry, I'd completely overlooked that possibility, which solves the presentation issue neatly. Thank you for the suggestion.

One minor point is that the 'hidden' and 'under construction' flags appear to be mutually exclusive, so that setting one deletes the other. Though I don't suppose it matters if the page is not visible on the live site in either instance.

Many thanks.
