Good morning all,
I have just upgraded to WebsiteX5 Pro14 from Pro12. At the moment I still have both programmes installed until I am 100% used to V14.
My big problem is I have lost all my Pro12 files!!! I have searched everywhere with no luck.
I still have the site files backed up but not in a form I can upload back into the either Pro 12 or 14 programme.
Anyone please have any ideas how if at all how I can load them back into Website X5 programme or will I have to recompile all the sites.
I hope that makes sence.

Posted on the
search your pc for iwzip or iwprj files.
If you find these you can restore your project, else you need to start over again.

Many thanks Andre, no luck with the search, so looks like I will be starting again! Its strange the files showed up in the old version then dissapeared once the new one was installed. Oh well, gives me something do.

yes, very strange, x5 does not delete files and all version are seperatly installed on your pc.
Don't forget to check all drives. And if you can't find eather of these files then yes you need to start over again. You can still use your website (text and pictures) to copy in the new project.
Make regular backups with step 5 export project, also or better yet, espacially when starting to design a new project.
