V14 More Problems!!!  en

I am running out of patience with V14, and Website X5 in general.

V14 is a mess - the menu object simple does not work. Compatability with previous version sites is poor, instructions are even poorer.

Responsive issues, page alignment issues, unstable, very slow to load previews.

Now i need to re-install, i find i can't get access to the website due to Norton constantly warning of malious site (OK, this could be Norton), and i can't get the activation through due to 404 error.

Check the website find out how to do a manual activation - No instructions! Hold done Ctrl key - Then what!

This is not good enough.

Hello P. S,

In my opinion, you should start by getting rid of all Norton software on your computer and switch to ESET NOD 32 anti-virus at www.eset.com.

Hello P. S.

For your information I have been here since version 8.

In all that time I have used NORTON/Symantec software - and newer had problems.

Well apart from one time when it said that my X5 could cause risk - and there is a solution for that in the antivirus-software.

I can see from your post that you are frustrated - but do you have an actual problem you want help with ?

Kind regards

John S.

Hello P. S.

Exactly to the point. The V13 was perfect - the V14 is not compatible with previous versions. I also have X5 since version 8 - but the V14 is a disaster. 90% of users have massive problems, as well as me. A stable V13 evolved would have been better ...

Best regards - Michael

My comment regarding which anti-virus program to use is NOT spam. I have no vested or financial interest in the company that I recommended for anti-virus software. It is purely my opinion, based on years of using that software.

Before anyone says that a post is spam, they should look up the true definition of the word!
