X14 Menu Color  en

In the new X14 how do I change the background color for the Drop Down Menu on the Left side

of my page? No matter what I try Menu or Level, I keep getting a Grey background on the page.

I would like it to be the same as my Site Background with the Text as White.

Is there a step by step explanation available?

Thanks

Michael, check if there are no pictures (background image) set in your colour scheme for TAB Level menu and then in pulldown ,menu item select menu item. If so click on it, then presss delete or use right mouse button to delete.

After that you can set the colour normally.

You need to click the picture menu item in x5 example of buttons, or select at the pulldown not BACKGROUND (wich is the background of the complete menu) but the actual buttun, like MENU ITEM, or ON MOUSEOVER.

If you have imported the projcet from a previous version x5 fills in the background image as a colour in these mouse colour settings that are the ones you want to change, you need to delete this if there is a image set.

Then set the colours the way you wish for your menu items.

ANDRE,

I was able to get the desired effect going into:

1. Map

2. Template Content

3. Clicking on the Hamburger Icon

4. Clicking on Hambuger Menu

5. Clicking on Background

Now that I have that task completed I will work on the Design

of the Buttons: Color on Mouse over, sperator space, etc.

There are many changes in the X14 program so I am working my

way through them. Will Incomedia be producing any videos for this

new program?

Thanks

Glad you found it, and yes it depends on where the menu object is, because it's an object now it can be set everywhere.

And yes there are a lot of changes some more radical then earlyer versions, but these make also a lot of uswer's wishes come true, and there are more possibilities for a nicer website.
