How do I use the full width of the screen when making internet pages. I have read the stuff about Cell style but I don´t seem to get any results when entering that menu.

Furthermore I can not recommend V9 as the automatic conversion from V8 to V9 gives by far too many problems.

Also the 200(???) new features are well hidden in the menus. Where do I find a full list?

And timing! A new message board at the same time a new version that gives tons of problems is released.... I will give you a zero for that. And here is another one just in case ...

Hello, the width of the templates is fixed. What you can do is use the fullscreen setting for the background. Using this settings the image present in the background will fit the browser window. There are many predefined templates that use this settings and you can find it in the 'custom template', it is the last item for the Background settings 'Fit to browser window'.

I suggest you to read this pdf where we wrote some suggestion on how to convert your v8 project: www.websitex5.com/v8tov9

About the 200 new feautures detailed list, we'll publish it in the next days.

Well, we had 2 months public beta testing and hundreds of testers. Anyway we're here to check all the problems you have to report us and help you to solve them. Wink

Beta testers are testers. I cannot believe that your houndred of testers not have found any of these problems that are being brought up now.

As many others I dont like to change my template because

- I like it as it is

- It takes up plenty of computerresources and waist of time every time one new template is being testet.

- you promised v9 was updateable from v8 and it is not so when templates from v8 cant be used in v9.

Also I dont like all the testing I have to do risking that the code is suddently gone because obviously the beta testers have not been allowed to do a proper job. It is sent out too soon with to many bugs and setbacks. Forexample the samples from Excel on this page - http://campingogbil.dk/brandstofforbrug.html - are not included when compiled with v9 and it is not obvious to the reader of a v9 compiled internet page that slideshows are slideshows and not just one picture (one have to touch the text of the single picture to go to the next picture. No arrows or nothing to point that out.

This is very very timeconsuming for everybody :( Not what an update is  about.

Hi, you don't have to change the template. As we suggested in the pdf file I sent you, you can use the "custom template" option in v9 to recreate any template you want.

Sorry but I didn't understand what you mean. Please advice...

Hello!

I've got a new better solution for you:

  • Add as 'Payment system' on you store at Step4 called "Credit Card Payment" and set as email istruction a sentence like this "Please link to this page to pay www.../pay-page.html"
  • Create a hidden page on your website (pay-page.html) where you just add a form that permits the customer to enter his credit card details, so you can receive all the info you need.

With the new v9 you can choose to send this payment data as:

  • email
  • directly to a database
  • process the data using your personal script, so you can process the payment directly
