Can a blog can be placed into main page (like a news updates with images)?

Hi! I need to have an option to manually update news/make posts in the front page of my website. Blog seems to be a good option. But blog appears to be on a separate page, not on the main page. I can only instert the blog widget into the desired section of the main page, but it only gives headlines, but no images. I need to have these headlines with images. So, is there a way either to insert blog into a section of the front page or is there a way to add images/make images appear in the blog widget? I own Website X5 v13. Thank you!

You could use an iframe.
You could make the blog-page without the template ( to avoid the menu that would be extra ).
Then on the front-page insert a html-object where you put the blog-page in an iframe.
You can see an example where I have put a calendar in an iframe on the front-page here :

It is not a page from X5 but it could as well have been.
