I have created a basic blog using X5 version 14, at the moment it on a hidden page for testing. It is working just not the way i want.

Question 1 - Where does X5 V14 store the blog data and how can it be back it up.

Question 2 - How can i modify the default storage method of the blog to save blog data into a mysql database that i create on the hosting platform.

I have setup the mySql databases, i just need to learn to link them to X5?

Have you read these:

http://help.websitex5.com/en/v14/pro/blog.htm

http://help.websitex5.com/en/v14/pro/gestione_dati.htm

In short:

It depends if you select file or databse to save the data for your blog

database-> on your server as databse

file -> as file on your server, see step1 -> data management -> writing acces folder.

Check with F1 in x5 to find a bundle of very good help in the help file.

Let me know if there are still guestions.

Best Regards
