Change pagebackground picture in responsive view

I am new to Website X5 14. I am using one of the templates that came with the program. I have chanaged the page background to one of my own in desktop view. My new background file is not viewable in the responsive mode. How can I have my own page background file viewable in all modes - responsive as well as desktop? A step by step guide on doing such would be appreciated. My website is not on line as of now. Thanks for help
