Dictionary with Spell checker
Author: Dan B.Some five years ago I asked about a spell checker/dictionary being added to this expensived Website Builder and the response was that they were looking in to it, and to send a note to the development department, and that it was not feasible because of all the languages involved. Then I suggested that users, in the mean time, use a third party program called Tiny Spell -- www.tinyspell.com -- and it does work, but what you pay for Website X it should have its own Spell Checker -- I am a good speller (?) but in my haste to get a thought down I occasionally hit the wrong key. Here is the rub about using the transfer method, you know, where you compose, compose, compose then transfer to a program like Microsoft Word, check the spelling and construction, do a little more editing then copy/paste back into WebsiteX and to you amazement you will find you have lost all of your editing and formating. This is an issue with this software as well -- you are paying a premium price for a very nice looking and easy to use Web builder but half of it is missing. I have been using this software for years, in the hopes they would step up and get this done -- other, less expensive Web Builders have what they do not, a Spell Checker and better formatting for document content. I see that others have more recently questioning the reasoning behind NO SPELL CHECKER -- do not hold your breath. They have added, what they call an UP DATE service -- what a sham that is. I am looking to move my Website over to another -- in fact I already have, I'm just going to let this one expire -- up date service indeed. I am going to poke you in the eye, then punch you in the gut and then ask you to pay for it.

Hi Dan,
+++1!
I would have said it perhaps a bit different, but in general I do agree. I have been using the program since version 7 and I also do miss a spell checking facility! And although I have been a moderator for the forum and a beta tester for most new versions, I am now exploring the possibilities of moving my website to Wordpress at the moment (when time permits). I had high hopes that spell checking, for which I have asked since version 11, would be included in version 14, but unfortunately, it is not! Which is at least disappointing.
New features have been added, which are nice, but some core functionality is still missing.
Analysing the website tells you simple things, like a missing title, a description wich is too long or empty keywords, but there's no check whether the title, the description and the keywords are actually used in the body text of the website, which is far more important for Google. The website analyser should go a lot further to ensure users create a website with a good chance of being found in Google and other search engines.
I mis the possibility to define H2 and H3 styles, which are also important for usabililty and for SEO. I have defined my own css-file for this and use <h2>Subtitle</h2>, but i believe that this messes with the calculations for the height of a text object
I would like to be able to copy markup (like the paint brush in office programs). This would speed up my workflow.
Lets stop for now...
Have fun!
