Drop Down Menu Bullet Icon  en

Using v13.

I am having trouble getting the Bullet Icon within the drop down menu to show up on review and on live site.

I am able to see it while changing in Step 2, Customization, Drop Down Menu, but when I go for preview, its not there. Tried several types of graphic formats, all with same results, (can see while in settings, but will not appear in preview on in published site).

All other changes in Drop Down Menu (font, text, colors, etc) are responding.

Marcus, can you provide a screen shot when you add the bullet Step 2, Customization, Drop Down Menu?

I do believe this may be an issue because I cannot get the bullet to appear either, but I would like to check I an doing what you are doing?

Thanks Esahc !    Here is the screen shot.   Once I select the image for the icons, you can see them great on the setting menu.  When I preview or publish, they do not show up.  When I go back to the settings, I can still see them.  Thanks for your help ,...!!!!

Marcus, in v13 it does work!

It works exactly as required where you have a level with pages under the level (template/drop down menu), and it works when you turn on page menu (Template/page menu - again only for pages under a level)

But it does not work for top level menu items, here you only have the option of background image (but with a bit of thought you can make it look like a bullet). This also applies if you have a vertical rather than horizontal menu.

As FALCK stated, the option to have a bullet shown on mouseover is gone from v14 level menu, but as for main menu in v13, you can define a background that with a little care could look like a bullet.

Hi Marcus,

I test in my V13 and it's OK for me now.

Take a look in the file attached (it' a problem of size)

Regards,

Danielle

Thanks guys !!!   Eshac, is there a way to move, without deleting a page to a new level?  i.e. I have 5 pages that I did not create a level for since they were very simple but now wanting to incorporate them in a new level without having to recreate them.

The support in this forum is outstanding !!

Marcus

Marcus, glad we could help.

Simply create the new level and move your pages, WX5 will not forget any existing links
