It's time for a Sales Tax solution for USA  en

I have read the numerous requests and several promises of a coming solution for applying sales tax on sales in the different States in the USA.

I can no longer wait and hope.  Please resolve this issue or I will no longer be able to utilize your software.  The States are coming down on vendors who do not collect sales tax and I don't wish to be their next victim.

Keep your promise and resolve this issue please.

And also for the international shipping, the ability to calculate shipping costs based on the customer's address.

And more... more... more for a real e-commerce pro software !

Hey Incomédia, WAKE UP !

Having the articles locally on the PC in the X5-Project instead of having the articles in DB tables is maybe already too much compromise for the users with webspace without MySql-DBs. If you have a proper shop you should be able to afford some webspace including MySQL.

The articles are put to the webspace into a javascript file when you publish your X5 project to the webserver, nice idea but very much "closed shop" architecture.
If the article data would be in a DB you can easier access it from outside the X5 project.

X5 goes already half the way anyhow. The stock figures are in a DB if you want that, as well all the order data. Why not the rest? The Pro version should rather develop into that direction I think.

I agree, it is a pitty that X5 is nice for easy and rapid webdesign, useful for small shops but not yet there where it should be for real e-commerce...

Good day to you,

Unfortunately, this is still not possible with any version of WebsiteX5. It has been suggested and reported to the developers in different occasions, but it still hasn't found its way inside the software through any update.

At this moment, it is not possible to say if or when it will be added to the default capabilities of WebSiteX5, but the developers are aware of this necessity and we will be sure to promptly notify you should this improvement ever make it in a new update.

Thank you for your understanding

Stefano
