Chris, as I understand it, the supply of electronic products is a manual process (you must verify payment and then allow download). Whilst this is a major problem for many users here, it sounds like the perfect way for you to safeguard  access to your products.

At this moment, you're allowed to create Digital Delivery products easily on the software, picking the relative file from your pc or from a specific URL, and the software generates the email to be sent with the link to the product.

The website owner has to be the one to verify the payment and proceed to sending the email though.

This can be easily accomplished by adding /admin to your website's URL, or by using the official Mobile App, where you can see all of the orders, and you will be presented with a "SEND" button, which will take care of delivering the associated product to the user.

Should your product be an image, you're also allowed to display watermarks on them to preview for your users.

Should this be a document instead, you will be required to show the user a screenshot of the document with the watermark applied the normal way, since you cannot really apply a watermark on the document directly.
