Mobile site suddenly not working properly  en

My website watershipdowns.com suddenly stopped working correctly on mobile devices.  The front page comes up but the menu links don't work; the page just kind of grays out.

I have made two recent changes at just about the same time and suspect that one of them may be the cause but not sure how to figure it out:  1) I added an SSL layer to the domain (which is working fine, at least  on computer web browsers) and 2)I imported this website from v12 to v14.

Thank you for any help laughing

Hi Debra,

Seems to be working fine on my iPhone, but the Hamburger menu disappears in your header and isn't easily recognized.

You should make the menu and the sticky bar somewhat larger and you must create separate banners for the different resolutions.

Have a look at my website (https://www.schotlandopmaat.nl) and make the browser window smaller to see the effect.

Succes,

Robert

The transition from the template to the preview is non-functional. When you add content and migrate to view how it would appear, you receive the same template information as if its pulling from the cache memory. Spent four to five hours of my time working with 15 and its a total bust!!! I do not enjoy being the "TEST PILOT" for disfunctional software. That's what the software engineers are for. Also, the compiler uses an inordinate amount of memory for the processing. Even with shutting down background systems on the Task Manager, more than 50-60% of the memory for processing is being utilized by the incomedia software.

Houston!!! We have a problem.

@Rbbrt

That's possibly the problem.  I've done that on another of my sites but I can't remember how/where to add different size banners?  surprised

Update -

1)so I did find that I can add different sized banners in Template Structure and I did that, saved, and exported but it doesn't seem to make a difference in the display for some reason.  Any ideas?

2) also, I did discover that there IS a working menu (I'm using an Android), if I swipe left after hitting the hamburger menu and the screen "grays out."  Apparently, the whole main page is not shrinking to the mobile size; it seems to be a full size for some reason.  Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?  I've looked at another of my sites that does work properly (dAOArtworks.com) but I can't find how/where anything is different.

Debra, you need to go to step2 Template, Template Contents and re-visit the header for every resolution, especially mobile.

You have text objects and graphic objects outside of the defined area, and when you click on the toaster menu, the words are way to the right.

In both the header and footer, click on each object and ensure that all 8 handles are visible within either the header or footer. If the object (perhaps the graphic banner is too big, it can either be resized by dragging the handles (this will not effect other resolutions), or hide and replace with something more suitable.

ARGHH.  I'm just not getting it.  I did exactly what you said (I think) but it still does not seem to change the width of the screen for Mobile.  Attaching screen shots.  Sorry for being so dense.

Debra

In this clip, you appear to have one large and one small banner, move the smaller one aside and hide the other at that resolution?

If it was me, I'd select 720-960 and hide the banner for this and lesser resolutions, then replace it with a suitable size.

Do the same for 480-720, and then for mobile

Yes you can resize objects, but since there is much confusion, this may clear the way more easily.

If it "almost" works, try changing the mobile resolution to 320?

Yes I know it's small, but it is the lowest common denominator for older phones.

Debra - hopefully your website is a work in progress otherwise you have mistakenly deleted rather than hidden the banner in one of the resolutions.

at the time of writing this post, there is no banner on the desktop version :-(

Hope your day improves. . . . .
