Page not editable

I am now using x5Professional V15. I have imported my existing project/site/template from previous versions. However, on working my way through the project to check/update it, I have found (so far!) one page which has images/sections missing. I have tried editing the page to re-insert the images but have found that the page is totally non-editable! I have tried deleting sections/images but on using the preview function the page remains the same, with the missing images etc. I've tried uploading the project to see if it is a glitch with the preview page, but it is not. All this is very time-consuming and frustrating!

David, whilst I cannot explain this behaviour, can you simply delete the page, create a new page and give it the same name. Is that now edittable?

Let me try, but it is a nuisance and time consuming. I will come back to you on this. I am also having trouble with The Animated Slider paid-for add-on. However, probably best to open a new topic regarding this. Thank you for your help anyway.
If I had to guess I would point the bone at a corrupt image (or perhaps one that is unreasonably large when included). Sadly you have not provided a link (potentially because of this problem).
