Shop BUG when using Availibility  en

Hi!

I have a shop under development going live very soon. I just discovered an ugly bug:

- Having long product descriptions is usually ok as you can scroll through it. If you enable "availibility" it still looks ok in the preview but when I upload to the web the scrolling is not working!

I did the Ctrl-Preview of course to recreate everything.
Yes I know, the design layout is not perfect yet but please no discussions about that (work in progress), the issue is a plain technical one.
A "workaround" to make real big article boxes so the whole description would be readable without scrolling is no option. There are quite a few articles with very short descriptions too.

 V15.0.2 Pro

Can't give a weblink as it is a B2B site and password protected shop. I attach screenshots with descriptions.

Update: seems to be a browser problem. Works in Chrome, fails in Firefox (58.0.2 and 59 tested).

As firefox is a major browser I'd still see this as an Incomedia issue as major browsers have to be supported.

Hi Dieter

I've tested the problem in both Chrome and the latest Firefox.

I can confirm that, because of the little height of the description box, the look of the scrollbar appears just as you posted in your screenshot.

This being said, in both Chrome and Firefox, I was fully able to scroll the description by using the mouse wheel on it.

Can you verify if this works for you too?

If it does we can see if the problem is mostly generated by the weird look of the scrollbar

Thank you

Stefano

Hi Stefano!

Yes, the scrolling in Firefox is working but really not easy to do with the wiered look of the scrollbar.

It would be great if the "availability" would be put in between price and order units when there is enough room.
Maybe the option to disable the "Add" button with the "availibility info" as hover would be possible?

Thanks for the great support as usual!
Dieter

Hi Dieter,

I can confirm this issue, and will proceed to forwarding this to the developers for analysis.

As soon as they get back to me, I will be sure to inform you here.

Thank you

Stefano
