Hi,
I was so happy with the launch of your optimiser. However, the state didn't last long.
After first launch it completely crashed the system. Second launch the graphics driver and reset all explorer settings to default.
I restarted the PC and it worked!!! But only once.... Second optimisation same thing. Complete graphic card drivers crash and after a while the screen went completely black.
And yes. Everything's updated to the latest drivers.
Please let me know if it's just me again or any of you have similar issues.

Hi Tom,
Very strange... I've been testing the Optimizer with different versions of WebsiteX5, and haven't experienced anthing like the things you report. Have you downloaded the correct version (32 bits versus 64 bits operating system?)
Succes,
Robert
Hi Tom,
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this kind of issue.
May I ask you to provide to me the exact specifications of your current pc, ram size, cpu model and such, as well as the current size of the project you're importing?
Thank you

Hi,
I downloaded the 64 bit.
PC: Dell Optiplex 790, Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, i7, 16GB RAM, 256GB Samsung SSD Pro + 1TB HDD, NV 730.
The project size is 3GB. As I said before. Once I reboot the system I can optimise only 1 project. If I triy another one=system crash.
The graphics card is the weakes link here. So the question is: Does X5 utilise the GPU power? I thought of going GTX 1060 or 1070. If that can speed things up then I'll simply upgrade.
Also I have to say there's been a lot of stability improvement in v15. Thank you for this. I had similar issues with previous versions of the software and I think the v15 has even managed to downsize the project somehow to 3GB as it used to be 6GB in v14.
Please let me know if upgrading graphics is a good idea, i.e. if X5 actually utilisied the resources.
Thank you.
Tom.
Hi Tom.
Since you told me this :
Once I reboot the system I can optimise only 1 project. If I triy another one=system crash.
I would like you to test this as well.
What if you optimize a project, then turn the software off and then back on, and optimize one more?
Would it still crash this way?
Please keep me updated on this matter

Yep. It crashes. This time managed to capture the screen before it went down. Attached.
Can you please elaborate on the GPU question? Does the software (both X5 AND the optimiser) use GPU processing power?
Tom.
Hi Tom,
No, the gpu most definitely is not involved consistently in the work of the software.
I'm sorry but I can currently see no image attached. Can you attach it?
Thank you

Sorry. It was 6MB. Made it smaller. Here it is.
Hi Tom.
At this point, I will have to ask you to perform additional tasks, in order to better debug this issue:
1_ If possible, test the same projects on a different pc and let me know the result
2_ How many projects are you testing this with? Could it be that this only happens with certain ones?
Please keep me updated on this
