I have Website X5 Professional V 15.1.1 (an update was just done a few days ago) on Windows 10 Pro, and even though I was able to use it yesterday with no issues, I went to open it today and I get this error message and it won't let me open my file.
"An error occurred while loading the project. The ip address set for the local Web Server preview is incorrect"
I tried all the suggestions in this post and none resolved my issue.

Nicole, have you restarted your PC/laptop recently (potential incomplete Windows Update)
Did you open an admin DOS prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns, you might also try ipconfig /renew
If still not working, restart your modem/internet connection, and if it still won't work could you try an alternate internet connection (eg hotspot or USB tether to mobile phone)
Please let us know.

Tried all of those suggestions a second time. None of them worked.
Nicole, you could go to Windows Restore (control panel, system, system protection) and with luck there will be a restore point from prior to the issue occuring. After system restore, if the project opens, please immediately export the project to create an iwzip. This will be necessary if "an update" happens to cause the problem again.
You may need to download and install the most recent version of WX5 (your profile, downloads) after this excercise.
Please advise if this works around the problem.
Hi Nicole,
please either delete the config.xml file you can find in c:\Users\ Your Windows username \AppData\Local\Incomedia\WebSite X5 v15- Professional or edit it like this:
<IPAddress>127.0.0.1</IPAddress>
<PortNumber>8080</PortNumber>
You should be able to temporarly solve the issue this way. Still, we have reported it to the developers anyway, so I will inform you when a better solution will be available.
I wish you a lovely day. Kind regards

Esahc, I tried you last suggestion but for some reason, I don't have that option turned on so there is no restore points.
Elisa, I cannot seem to find the file you are talking about. I can get to my username file, but there doesn't seem to be any file for AppData. What am I missing?
Thanks

So I found it, for some reason AppData was a hidden file.
I deleted the config.xml file and it's still not working. I went back to the file and it looks like a new config.xml file was created just now when I tried opening the program. Have I done something else wrong?

Sorry I don't know what that attachement is or how it was added to my last comment

Sorry for all the messages. I restarted my computer again and it seems to be working again. Thanks for all your help
Great to hear Nicole.
In case of future catastrophe, you would be well advised to turn on system restore if you can.
STILL PROBLEME NOT SOLVE IT..

Hi Abubakr,
I have already replied you here: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/193402 you can follow that post to find the solution.
I ask you kindly to open only one post for question: It’s better for you, because you need to follow less posts, and also for the community, that can use better the internal search engine.
Thanks! Kind regards.
I was having the same problem and I followed Elisa's guidelines by editing the config.xml file. Problem solved. Thank you Elisa.
