I first called Hostgator and they advised me the site had malware and reffered me to an online website cleaning service indicating malware.  I checked the single page site (very recently uploaded with X5 for the first time).  I can't imagine it's malware.  The sight checked out okay with Norton Safe Search.

I can view the site no problem with a computer.  I get the above error message when navigating from an iPhone.

Thanks in advance for any help.  Regards

Greg, can you provide the domain name? Perhaps other users with access to an iphone could assist in identifying the problem.

How recent is your iphone?

related / useful test site:   https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly

If collective feedback doesn't identify the issue, I'll re-upload this single page site using a different X5 Evolution 14 template.

Also since my initial inquiry: I've re-uploaded page/site with new template.

In the admin directory of public html/admin I had 1 index.php, I deleted index.php Left Index.html in public_html. No effect so I did the opposite and tried without index.html.  No effect either way.  Restored both.

Still having issue. Anyone else hosted by HostGator?  Anyone else have issue out of the gate diplaying website to mobile phone?

Greg, I am hosted with hostgator (but do not have an iphone).

I also have customers hosted by hostgator, feel free to visit http://supadiverta.com.au and/or http://gutterpumper.com.au

If there are iphone issues I would be pleased if you could tell me.

Esahc ..,

Both your sites look great via:

https://search.google.com/test/mobile-friendly

and my iPhone 6.

Did you use an X5 template? If so, which one?

Are you using X5 Evolution or X5 Pro. (just saw your profile badges show Pro...)

I like X5 well enough to upgrade from Evolution to Pro if I know it will fix this issue for me.

But my situation is baffling, new setup to HostGator (so far HostGator Support unhelpfull addressing this issue), brand new site, single page site and tried two two different templates (both with dynamic browser sizes; however neither referrence "mobile device" specifically).

I'm not familiar with creating a template, or if we can with X5.  If you have the time: could you export just your home page or site to file to share; with or without your content data (I don't mind scrubbing out your content if it makes it easier to share your site format).  Either way, if you share: definitely scrub out your Step 5 Export DataYou wouldnt want to share that with anyone. If you can't or dont have the time; I totally understand.

Sent you a comment with contact via your site...

Resolved with reset of cpanel (including deletion of a subdomain) and updating host ftp account (insuring pathed to public_html and not some ftp account specific sub-folder). Resolution was either due to cpanel reset (having built a site first with HostGator tool and then X5 and or due to inadvertent website load into subfolder base on ftp account setup.

Resolved.  Thanks to all who looked at this...

Great result! :-)

BTW - I did reply by email, but for what it's worth, the email bounced (did not exist).
