When customers get to the end of the shopping prosess there is a generic error message can any one help

Next thing is to check php versio from your webprovider, see if you can set it higher or lower and then test again.
You propable need acces by your control panel from the internet provider.

Another question, did you change to a secure hosting HTTPS ?
I think the vecertificate and the database might not work correct with eachother
Did you do already a full upload? PLease check if this helps as well.
