Youtube video won't play on iPhones but works fine on android devices

I just found out youtube videos won't play on iphones but do play well on android devices. I used the "Video and Audio" tool in X5 V15 to add the youtube link. Am I the only user encountering this problem? Is there a solution?

Kurt, can you open this same youtube video directly on the iphone rather than though the WX5 website link?

Esahc, I verified the youtube video link worked on iPhones, but it would not play on my website from the same link embedded through X5's built-in video and audio tool. Android devices have no problem playing on my website, so the video tool and youtube link were valid. The video just won't play on iPhones.
Any thoughts?

Kurt, I have marked this post for attention by Incomedia. I know they had issues with IOS and iPhones, but I thought these had all been dealt with.

You may wish to try an alternative browser on your iPhone, and if it is possible, ensure the default software is as up to date as possible, if you can fix this issue, please mark the post as solved.

I tested this by navigating with an iPad and iPhone to your website, and was able to get the video started without any issues.
What version of iOS are you using? could you test this on other iOS devices too?

Hi Stefano, I don't have an iphone, but tested the youtube video on three friend's iphones. I will find out the IOS version on their phones and let you know.
check if javascript is enabled on safari. this might help also
