Anchor link with sticky header  en

Using a sticky header the anchor link would not work as expected.
The target section would be covered by the sticky header.

On internet there are several solutions, but have somebody a solution working in Website X5?

Kees, you can get  clever and set offsets etc, but I simply use the feature (failure) to my advantage. I add a row before the section of the page I wish to go to and set it as the anchor in the full knowledge it will be obliterated by the sticky menu. I just treat is as a heading for the page section (which is helpful to those scrolling through the page)

My example (unpublished) site https://www.supadiverta.com.au/alt/

Hello Kees

I also mention this in the documentation ( the PDF ):

In X5 it is not possible to use anchors if you have a fixed header, unless you make some dummy-space
above the anchor.
This goes both for the fixed header, and when using the sticky menu.

I personally don't like this "workaround" but how you do it, is up to you.

Kind regards

John S.
