Linking fonts to project  en

When I load my project, I always get the error: "Some fonts used in this document have not been linked to the project: ... " etc. I've seen this question a few times in the help forum, but none of those threads has resolved the issue for me.

In my project, I have added various fonts by going to "Other font types" (in the font drop-down), and clicking "Add" to add web fonts. But, often, fonts that I've added this way just suddenly go missing. Currently, the list shows four fonts. But I've added at least six others. (I'm using the Alegreya fonts from Google, so I have Alegreya, Alegreya Sans, Alegreya SC, Alegreya Sans SC, all in various combinations of regular, bold, medium, and italic.) It's annoying to always get this message and to always have a different selection of fonts go missing.

How can I link fonts and make sure they stay linked?

Thanks for your help!

Find the (text) object where the font type is red coloured. This font needs to be installed.

Then the message should go away and stay away.

Good luck Tyler.

I have one project that has one non-websafe font. I have deleted/replaces all fonts related to text, but on one page, buried deep in the project there is one blank line that is set to the old font. I noted when I changed fonts on first one paragraph and then the second that perhaps the blank line between the paragraphs could have a font attribute, but thought nothing more of it until I opened the project to the error message.

In my case it is irrelevant that this empty line will be replaced by the default font, so to hide the error I have copied the old ttf to a location on the hard drive and loaded it as a webfont.

However, I have stopped using web fonts for any other purpose because I find that google fonts work flawlessly (web fonts are not so reliable for me).

Have fun :-)

Hello Tyler.

When copying and pasting text, it is important to format the pasted text with the "Eraser" icon.
