Pro V13: Will not center contents of main menu.  en

I am using website x5 pro version 13 and even though I am using the correct setting (from my research and understanding) to have the contents of the main menu be centered, they are not. Help.

I went to Template Structure>Menu type:Horizontal below header>Page Section:Menu>Content Properties:Alignment:2 - Center

Am I missing something or is the program not working correctly?

Alexandra

To centre the menu you need to go to Template, Template Content, select the menu object and make sure it is either centred visually or is the same width as the header by dragging the handles. Then double click on the menu object and select centered.

Hi there, thank you for the help but I must be using a different version then yours because none of this looks familiar. I am using X5 Pro 13. Are you able to tell me how to find this on that version?

Alexandra, my apologies, but the only product you are listed as owning is the v15 evo demo. Please login with the email address and password used to register v13 so we can assist.

Hi! This is me, with the proper login for the website x5 version 13 I am using. Do you need me to repost my questions completely?

Oh really?

According to your profile you may be about to use v16 and you are using v15.2.2.1 demo. There is still no v13.

You can (should) contact Incomedia to get all the versions you own displayed. If you need to give them private information, you can do this by setting the first post as private.

V13

To center the menu go to step 2 template, customisation, template structure, click on the menu and select how you want it

For the menu itself, click on step2 template, customisation, main menu and select justification of text within each button

If you're in 2 minds about v16, just do it. You will not be sorry.

The new menu functionality (menu object anywhere you want, header, footer, anywhere on page or even left or right) is reason enough to upgrade, but there is much more.

Have a great day.
