Thanks John, but not sure they work for me, as I'm only using the free version? Can't find any means of shrinking the header/footer, as I can't alter template settings.

And for your question. There are two options

1) Open your Website X5 Software>Go to Step2:Template>Select Template Structure>Now select Page Background>Upload your image and change the Repeat option to Fit to window>Now select header>Change the colour to Transparent>Then choose Header Background>Change the colour to Transparent>Then see the preview, your image will be filled entire window>Save it

2) Open your Website X5 Software>Go to Step 2:Template>Select Template Structure>Now select Header>Then change the Header height to '0'>Then select Header Background>Change the Header background height to '0'>Save it.

Both the methods have same results
