After updating new template for my working project i am getting error loading project error. the one listed in the Title of my question.
How to resolve this.I already saw some of the solutions mentioned to remove some files and folder under the project and rename backup file. But I dont see any backup listed in the backup folder at all in any of my project though in the preferences and in "SAVE" button option under the project it says the option is checked for backup.
But no backup at all in the back up folder of my project or any other project which is created by me.
I kept a manual backup of my project but it is about 4 days old and it is opening
but no recent backup or any backup.
What do i do?

Rohit, if there are no backups in the backup folder inside the project folder, please restore from your 4 day old manual backup you created.
The automatic backup only works when you upload your site via the built in FTP, please click on the down arrow next to save and ensure this feature is turned on.
BUT
Please do not rely on the built in backup!
Please use step5 export, Export the Project option to create an iwzip. This is actually reliable! After creating the iwzip I recommend renaming (perhaps with date) so you can keep multiple versions of your project.
And if Incomedia offer a discount to upgrade (your profile top right, Offers) please take advantage of it. If v12 is still supported by Incomedia, it won't be for long.

hi,
as already mentioned the backup is manual I saved the .iwzip file to a location where i save other projects.
there is no option or file in Backup folder at all.
any other way to recover this work. I is very important other wise i need to give 4-5 more day again on the same part.

To my knowledge, without a backup there are no further options. Even to wait for Incomedia to assist will probably be next week (they are short staffed this month?), you could have it redone by then.

any idea why after applying a new theme it crashed. Also after applying that theme which is part of my software it never gets applied in the real project. however, whenever i see the preview from the software it was showing as applied and after that suddenly it crashed and not able to open it.
No idea sorry, but I have crashed projects applying new templates in the past. This can put extreme load on the PC. I have found if I save before ctrl+preview the chances of corruption are minimised.
