Hello Everyone,

I am going to setup an e-commerce website. Product Catalogue and the entire website building is ready. I just want to create search filters for various products where customers can filter their desired products by brand name, price, features etc.

Can anybody give some idea how to do this?

Thank you

No x5 can't do this, it's a wish that has been called for more often.

Maybe create a new idea post?

In the meantime the only way is to start a seperate shop there are that have all these options and are for free.

See the post from John here: https://helpcenter.websitex5.com/en/post/188182

I also am thinking about changing from x5 shop to third party shop, x5 stays behind in the shop part.

After much testing, I am finding the best carts to be CS-Cart and Ecwid.  Much more robust and capable than X5 cart.  You can have pages from X5 with links to the cart pages or individual items.  It may be a bit of a pain having two systems, and certainly CS-Cart can be used stand alone, but it does offer a lot of flexibility.

An idea with internal possibilities of websitex5:

For the internal search, the filter is the search input. These can be pretended with links, if not too many terms.
Example of products named Harmonizer on plocher-produkte.ch:
https://www.plocher-produkte.ch/imsearch.php?search=Harmonizer&type=products

with search = the search term and with type = products / pages / images. You can test and copy the links with search input and type selection.

Hey everyone!

I'm creating a plugin system for Website, which also includes a filtering system for products (currently under Beta test).

If any of you is interested in trying it out and help me debug it, let me know!
