Did you optimize the project?
Optimizer: https://www.websitex5.com/en/utility.html

If you import the text from a text processing, formatting and control commands in the text can cause problems. Then you should import the text via Notepad to get pure text.

hi JJ

thanks for your reply, the problem is that when I'm updating (writing in the textbox of X5 text object) an existing text and afterwood close it by clicking ok the text is gone after that.

Hi Eric,

Could this be happening due to some kind of Antivirus/Firewall or similar interfering with your work with the software?

Perhaps your projects are being saved somewhere where your current permission on your computer won't allow the program to run correctly.

Try and turn Antivirus and Firewall off temporarily, and start the software again.

Should this not fix it, try the same on a new project. Do you experience this issue there too?

Keep me posted

Thank you

Stefano

Stefano,

thanks for your tip, I think I found the problem.

I saved everyting on my NAS (on my private network with internet access) because this way I could work on my website from everyplace I want on my server or my laptop, now I saved the working files on my server and seperate on my laptop but keep my project files on my NAS untill this moment I didn't had any problems again.

Thanks again and If this problem popsup again I let you know.

Eric
