I too want an empty template. You say they exist, but "Yes there are empty templates, but they are not fully empty, some basics are there these are there to guide you a little bit."
Why? I don't want your mandatory menus or fixed headers and footers! Please stop telling me what I need?
Please just give us a blank canvas to work with.

Hello Rick S.
According to me Incomedia Website X5 is not trying to tell you what you need! This software was designed to help people who have not any idea to create a website without coding as well as professionals. I believe you are an expert designer and doing well. All the best to you. Please don't blame the software. It's really helpful for beginners.
If you want a fully blank template then just delete every kind of object from the template and design your own. May be it will take some time, but try to understand there are lot of people who don't have an idea to create a website.
Incomedia always want to be helpful for all that's why they have designed the software that can help the beginners.
Hope Website X5 will look after your problem and fix it with an update.
Thank you. Have a nice day ahead.
Ciao Rick, io mi sono creato da solo un modello completamente vuoto, eliminando quei pochi elementi presenti nel modello vuoto proposto da Incomedia e aggiungendolo nella libreria personale.
Google: Hi Rick, I created myself a completely empty model, eliminating the few elements present in the empty model proposed by Incomedia and adding it to my personal library.
Maybe this older post helps as well?
