In Website x5, version 13 I have made a website where I use a vertical menu. I use separators between the menu buttons. The separators appears as a drawn line between the menu buttons. I have tried to export my website made in version 13 to a newer version and I have also tried to make a new website in the newer versions of Website5. In both cases the separator is no longer shown as a drawn line but as a button with the text: "Separator 1", "Separator 2", Separator 3" and so on. What am I doing wrong?
I have attached a picture of how it looks like in version 13.

You can change in step3 the word seperator to three dashes like: --- or *** or any other sign.
This should create about the same effect. You can now even use several effects of the seperator in the menu like use them both to create some kind of differences between them.

I have tried to do as you propose but the problem is not entirely solved. The separator looks like the menu buttons. Same size, shape and colour. It is not very pretty. I attach a picture with the menu buttons I created in WebSite X5, version 13. It looks a lot better.
Hi Bente,
is the website online? If it is, can you please post a link, or a screenshot of your menu now?
Thanks! Kind regards.

Hi Elisa
No the website is not online yet, but I have made a couple of screenshots and put them into a zipped file (I hope it functions). The screenshot called "separator 2" show how it looks in the old version of WebSite X5 and the "screenshot 3" how it looks if I try to make separators i the new versions of the program.
Kind Regards

Hello Bente,
Why not drop the seperators? it is not as common anymore to use.
Without them it might be getting a bit used to but if you keep a small gab in it is still nice. And also smaller so there is more menu in handhelds to see in 1 screen.
Just a thought / Idea....
Hi Bente,
in order not to have the "Separator n°" shown, you need to open the Menu Object, choose the option "Separator" and then set the background as well as the text as "Transparent". In this way, you will get a space between the menu entries. If you prefer to have a line displayed, you can set an image of a line with transparent background as background image.
Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.
