I had the same problem yesterday and could not find a solution that worked. In the end I scrapped the project and started again. This is clearly a common issue so a resolution would be very helpful.

Duncan, as Claudio stated, because you have professional then restoration of a backup (assuming you have one or 2) is easy (select project, click backup, select a backup, click redo).

This corruption problem seems to be far less common in the latest v16, but I still do not trust the routine. If you have a number of projects, irrespective of the version, open the project, select step 5 Export/export project. This provides a proper backup that can be restored on any PC and is also perfect if you should choose to open it in a later version. The v16 export routine even lets you easily name the iwzip files so you can keep multiple iterations.

Duncan, are there any backups available in the project? (these will only have been created if you uploaded the site via WX5 ftp. The project should open once you have run the backup/redo process.

Is this one of your projects or a friends? (copied from another PC) If it is a friends you need them to export the project to create an iwzip and then you import it, if it is your project and you have never exported the project to create an iwzip then you need to pray that backups exist in the backup folder inside your project folder.
