Can't submit ticket through your www.summitsoft.kayako.com site
Author: Glen FosterI have een trying to submit a ticket via https://summitsoft.kayako.com/default_import and it won't allow me to do it. It keeps giving me the message "Privacy Policy Required", with no indication of what to do to resolve the issue. No radio button, check box, NOTHING.
Summitsoft / incomedia do not make it easy to get support. In fact, they make it anything but. Just trying to find out where to submit (or attempt to) is a confusing process in itself.
This is the ticket I am trying to submit:
I am currently using Website X5 / Evolution 12, (version 12.0.10.12) but I find it has limitations. Specifically, it won't allow me to design full width sites such as http://thecomedybuzz.com/
Its a bit annoying, since I purchased credits to get a similar template, only to find out that the template I want to use is not compatible with my version. So as it sits, that money is just wasted.
So, which program / version do I have to upgrade to be able to design full width sites?
Hello Glen,
If you have question regarding x5 you can place them here.
You will find support from users and from Incomedia and mostly you will get a quick answer.
First I would do in your case is to check what version template you bought and then buy this version or higher of that template.
For you other question, wich version to get support on for full width options it is best to look for V14 or higher.
Check top right here in answers, the pulldown next to you name and select offers for you to see if there is a nice offer for you.
But offcource best is to buy the latest version to take advantage of the latest software and options; v16.
Check the template proberly on version, if it is a PRO version template it won't work in EVO. The other way around it will work.
Goodluck, if you have other questions regarding this post let us know here.
For other questions with other subjects then please make a new post (ticket)
Best Regards,
Hi Glen,
thank you for your message.
I am sorry you had problems with Summitsoft's portal. Don't worry, you can get help here.
Please consider that Website Creator 12 is a white-label product Summitsoft sells, which corresponds to WebSite X5 Evolution 12. It is true, in this version it is not possible to create full width websites. Still, and as Andre suggested, this is possible in the new WebSite X5 16.
I kindly suggest you to try the demo version, which you can find here: https://www.websitex5.com/en/free-website-builder-demo.html
Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.

I see that there is a sale on the "new" Website Creator 13.
Will that version allow me to do full width sites? And use those size of templates, or do I have to go with version 16?
Hi Glen,
surely, by purchasing the newest version you would be sure to work with the latest and most updated version. Also, with this new version you can insert images, slideshows, video and maps and make them as wide as the browser windows, so my suggestion is to go for version 16.
Before proceeding, please consider that even with version 16 you can create full width webistes, but you cannot place the websites content outside the area defined as Page Contents. Here are some examples:
