Thanks for your reply.
I did as you said and created a database on the server. I also wrote down the same data in step 1. But I still get this error:

The servers makes use of MySQL 5.6

Hey,
Please check in you db definition in stpe 1, if you have no space in one of these paremeters (hostname, username, password)
If you have used copy/paste, this error could be raised.

Thank you. Your picture was helpfull. I had to set an IP adress for hostname instaid of the real name of the host. I have managed to create a connection to the database
