Why should I renew this subscription?
All I get is bug fix for small errors, which should really work in the first place.
Many reported issues are still not fixed, such as parallax flicker, online shopping.

I get what you mean and I am sorry if you still have issues which have not been solved yet. We are working hard to fix any reported issue.
Please consider that the main point of Update Protection is right to keep on developing our software. By extending the service, so, you will have access to all the new features and fixes which will be made available with the upcoming versions for the next 12 months.
Of course, you can decide not to extend the service: in this case your licence will still be active, and you can possibly wait until the release of a version which does fulfill your needs. I really want to stress a point though: the 50% discount will only be available until the end of your Update Protection.
