I have no idea how to bring this back.  Somehow, something i did i have managed to lose the menu bar (it is there only as a box and lines).  I want to have the menu bar permantely showing with the pages to click on.  It sort of does my head in.   my site is www.lemurian.com.au   - Been trying to find the answer, looked online through forums and read the material.  I need help.

Hello George,

It seems that your Menu Bar is present on your website but it's like hamburger menu.

Well you have to open your project and in Step 2:Template>Template Content, increase the width of your menu bar. and preview this.

Hope this will help you. Keep posting for further help

Thank you

George, ANI is absolutely correct. Click on the menu object and drag the handles until the text appears, if there is insufficient horizontal space you can drag a handle to provide room for more than one row.

Hi Guys, thank you for this.  I have tried this previously, no writing at all comes up on the menu, it just has the click on the lines and the menu drops down.

There is also no option of adding text to this bar.  I think it may be easier to just redesign the website from scratch.  Unless you two know something i do not?

Thank you in advance

Hi George,

the Hamburger menu is shown when there isn't enough space for the normal menu to show up. In order to solve this issue, you need to increase the size of the menu in the header until you can see the normal menu back.

Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.

Hi Elisa

I have just tried that, I have filled the page header up with the menu, pushed the logo over to the far right. I look at the preview and have uploaded it and no change.  I think the issue must be something i have done during template configuration or something. It has me baffled.

It still shows the lines and background colour, no writing or menu items.  all but destroyed me.  Great advice all of you.  I am sort of beat.  If you have any other suggestions, i will try it.

George

I should have posted this earlier.   Not sure why the writing is missing.  Or how to put it back.  Any help you can give me would be invaluable and i will try it

I use 16 prof but have encountered issues occasionally. If I experience a menu issue I delete the menu. Then add a new menu and ensure you select the menu you want... display issue errors are usually my errors...

If you are always getting a hamburger menu it is likely because it has too many pages in the main menu list in my experience and you may have to create page sub menus in your page listings... It sounds to me like you may simply have too many pages to display so perhaps hide the pages and create a site map link or put the pages under category headings to reduce the main menu pages displayed..

On the menu - when you click on the menu bar - lines, the menue does appear to the right and does on the left.  Right if you click on the menu on the sticky bar.

I will try deleting the menu - see how this goes.  I have created a copy and am working on this one.  I will let you know

I clicked on solved.  OMG- I did not realise that you could delete the menu bar and drag it back up.  And there it was,  the menu bar complete with pages.  Only a year of trying to sort it out.  OMG.

it usually is the most stupid things, it just takes someone to point out how to start again.  You my friend are blessed and you have no idea how many hours i have cried over this.

Big thumbs up Philip P.User
