I have just posted the first blog with the new X5 version. When it loads, it has the heading but the article itself does not appear until the title in the right hand box is clicked. How can I get it to show the full article on loading?

Hi Michael,
The reason why you're not seeing the description are many and it is hard to tell without seeing at least the page first.
Is your website currently online? Do you have a page I can check for errors? If so, please attach its URL here.
If not, please consider uploading your website online into a subfolder, so that it is invisible to normal users while still allowing me to test it properly
Please keep me posted on this
Thank you

Hi Stefano
Thanks, the website in question is www.marketauto.co.uk and the blog is behind the Motoring News tab
Hi Michael.
Are you referring to this box?
This you're seeing here with the image is but a sneak peek of the full article. It is just a small presentation, where you need to click on either the image, the title or the Read all button in order to access the full article.
This is probably the reason why you think you're not seeing if fully right now, but this is how it is supposed to work.
Was this it or did I misunderstand the question perhaps? Please keep me posted
Thank you
Stefano
Stefano, it used to work in X5 that the current Blog article was fully visible on arriving at the Blog page and previous articles could be accessed through the boxes on the right. Now the visitor has to click on the small box to see it and this is NOT intuitive! They need a "Click here to view blog article" or something to show them where to look. Or, take it back to the way it used to be.
Hi Wayne.
The blog entry content is being shown partially only as to avoid presenting possibly extremely long articles all on the same page. This is the normal approach to any blog system which present short parts of an entry in order to draw the user's attention.
The software allows you to perform edits to the blog button, which means you are free to modify its size and text content as to make them as visible as you wish them to be. This should take care of most of the concerns that may appear on the button appearance.
Hope I've been helpful
Stefano
Thanks Stefano, I will try to edit the button and make the area to click a bit more easy to find, or larger.
