The formats have changed so much since version 8, it can't be directly imported or edited with V16. Someone who has Version 8 in the forum can load it for you, then update it to a version that creates an IWZIP. That will be able to be imported by V16. I don't have V8 currently on my computer, but if you get stuck and nobody else can help, I will download it, then take your site through the update process. (it might be able to be loaded with v9 - can't remember if that is the case - and updated from there). Bear in mind that there have been a LOT of changes since v8 and your site will still need to be modified a lot. For example, your old backup will need to have all the images from your site included. The later versions include them in the file. You might have to copy them from the internet (if your site is still up) or replace them.
