Hi Guys,

I need a help to get my website as you have it in your template "Special"

https://market.websitex5.com/en/templates/125be965-41b6-41bf-a357-9ef3d199bb

So when I click on the "About Us" from the MENU my site will scrolling down to anchor "about" which are on the same page.

I tried out everything, but no success. Can you explain me how to do that please?

Many thanks.

Jozef

Hello Zajos

You define the anchor for the object you want to be on top when anchor is activated.

You give the anchor a name.

Then you make a link to the same page and for this link you also give the anchor name.

When the link is activated, the page will be shown and the top of the shown page will be where the anchor are.

The anchor is named anker-slider

And the link is like this :

Further to John's instructions above, if you wish the various anchors to display like pages on a website but simply scroll to the section, you need to create a level for each anchor.

Now select the level (eg Anker-Slider) and click on properties (bottom right)

Now select link to be executed. Select Website Page and the name of the internal page anchor

Each level will now be a web "page"

Many thanks guys, only one more thing:

When I doing the same what you adviced, then on the MENU (in header) all are the same, so I can't define in STEP 2 different look to current page as you have it in your template "Special". All are the same and showing that I am on current page while in your template "Special" you have made different look to "Home" item.

Any idea?

Many thanks.

Jozef

Josef, in the preview in WX5 is the current page correctly shown?

To see the current page correctly highlighted when on the web, you need to tell WX5 the correct address.

No is not, It is not uploaded yet, I only working with it, and in the Website X5 preview when I made what you adviced, so when I delete pages and leave there only "Home Page" and other pages I change to "Level" from "Page" and put there anchor in settings in STEP 3, which point to "Home page" where I have "Contact Us" section on the bottom, in my MENU in Website X5 preview in header I have shown that my HOME button has same visual format as my CONTACT US button. Both of them are the same, while I have set in STEP 2 different look to mouse over, to current page and to menu item, see pictures, first one is correct, but it is with 5 pages, second one is with anchors which pointing to home page.

When you scroll down the page or jump to an anchor, the sticky menu is displayed. You need to set the sticky menu attributes the same as the main menu.

I have found the easiest way to do this is copy the menu object from the header and paste it into the sticky bar.

Many thanks.

Only one more thing: as you have it in websitex5.com on the main page, how you put text beside the picture, and how you put there also button? In my text object is there no option for this as you see in atachment. When I put there picture I can't write on the sides, only below.

Can you please explain me?

Jozef, what you want can't be done in an image or gallery object unless you put the text (and button?) in the cell next to the picture.

However, you could cheat.

Change the object to text (step 4 page)

Select the cell and select style (you can do this with right click as well)

Add your image as the background.

Now edit the text object as normal placing the text and a link (button?) as required. With a bit of fiddling you should be able to place the text above, below or around the image as required.

Here is an example (top left cell) https://www.supadiverta.com.au/

But websitex5.com site was made with software websitex5, no?

If yes, then it is possible somehow, because they did it. Slider option in text object I already find, but it does not go any further :(

Jozef, it is possible WX5 website is built with WX5, but they are using the latest version and I do not know if they use any 3rd party code.

The short answer is that the only solution I know of is as above. Perhaps someone else with more knowledge of the slider object can shed light for you, or are you referring to the ability to set up a slide show using tabs in the text object?

As I said Jozef, they may have used 3rd party code, perhaps a new post specifically asking them how they did it?

You could easily reproduce the effect complete with button, as long as you settled for a non animated button, this took about 5 minutes and could easily be one of many tabs in a text box

Hi Jozef,

please consider you could reach a similar result by placing a text Object next to the Image one. Also, please don't forget to create new posts to manage different issues, so we can provide support for each matter without risking to making confusion.

Thanks! Kind regards.
