V17 mobile problems (Android)  en

Since updating to v17, a formatting problem has been reported from users browsing the site on mobiles, using both the default and the Chrome browsers

On the smallest viewport, i.e. in mobile portrait mode, a very large gap appears between the title of the last section and its content, which requires scrolling right down to the bottom of the page to locate the content. The content then appears overlaid on or behind the footer content and continues below the footer.

The formatting appears to be correct in mobile landscape view.

Please see www.stonehousestudios.co.uk/about.html for example. There is a similar problem on the www.stonehousestudios.co.uk/contact.html page, where the email form overlays the short privacy statement that should appear above the form.

The same issue occurred on the www.stonehousestudios.co.uk/spring.html page, but adding the title and content from the final section on that page, beginning 'Course Content', to the section above and then deleting that final section appears to work around this.

I have left the about and contact pages unaltered temporarily as examples, but this is a live site and it is critical that the issue is resolved soonest.

Note that the formatting is correct in the Website X5 preview for this viewport.

The site was originally built on the 'My Rosemary' template.

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions, meanwhile I trust the underlying issue will be resolved ASAP.

I am awaiting final confirmation from the users who originally reported the issue with the Stonehouse site, but the v17.0.8 update appears to have fixed the formatting problem as far as I can tell.

Hello Malcolm,
First thing I notce is that objects in footer are bigger then the footer object, this causes the width not to be displayed correctly and according to the width probably other objects.

Check in step 5 the analyse option and run it in your project, check the alerts (make button on top  a blue frame so the function / filter is active)

them see that all objects are correct in the template, specially the smartphone (smallest template)

After fixing this upload again and test aand let me know if there are still issues.

Thanks !
