Peter, do you have a link to your site?
It could be that the browser is simply too old and does not support modern web standards? Did the problem only occur with the use of v17??

With version 16 there was no problem with the update on 17 I noticed that if it is not the latest update the browser is not displayed correctly

Peter, I have no idea how old the chrome browser is on your TV, and even though Chrome is usually cutting edge giving it a longer lifespan than most browsers, it is possible it does not support newer web standards (eg grid css). Your site appears to work in ie11 so I am surprised chrome has issues.
Is it possible to find out the version of chrome?
What is the issue & could the page perhaps be modified to cope with older browsers.
